The therapy team at Newton Health Care Center takes great pride in residents achieving their goals and returning to the highest level of functional independence for them.
Upon admission our Therapy team will collaborate with Nursing, Dietary, Social Services and Activities to create an individualized plan of care for each residents. Throughout their stay in our private rehab suites, each residents can expect 24-hour nursing support along with quality therapy services. Our team provides therapy six days a week and evaluates each Resident before planning their return home. As a resident’s projected discharge date nears, the Social Services Director will assist the resident and/or family with any discharge planning needs. This includes making the appropriate referrals for Home Health, Hospice, Assisted Living arrangements and durable medical equipment.
Residents receive complimentary local telephone service as well as a cable television service.
